Autumn skies and pumpkin pies...

Did you know, the #BeaumontTower marks the spot where the world’s very first land-grant classroom once stood. Back in 1855, College Hall became the starting point for accessible higher education, though it crumbled about 50 years later. Enter John W. Beaumont, an alum who’d studied there; he helped memorialize it with the Tower we see today—and kept it from being turned into an artillery garage. Pretty cool, huh?

We were with @zeediamedia this week at Jorgensen Farms Elevator in Williamston, MI for some photo and video work. The weather couldn't have been better for capturing some dramatic shots. They had over 56 million pounds of corn in their grain bins. We made it out there just in time to see some of the last trucks unloaded. It was a very cool day!

It's not everyday you get to fly at full speed dow

It's not everyday you get to fly at full speed down runway...

…without being in an airplane.

This is the most complicated drone shot we have ever undertaken. It took weeks of planning, approvals from the FAA, and waiting for the perfect day to pull it off. We had a 15 min window to get our footage while the airport was shut down for maintenance. This was all thanks to the team at @flylansing.

They had a vision for the opener of our video project with them, and we were happy to oblige. We knew we wanted a sunrise and sunset, but a drone shot down the runway was the perfect addition to our plans.

Stay tuned for the final video that "communicates the treasures of the region." 😎🚁📷
