Completed in 2020, the East End in Midland, Michigan, is a $40 million mixed-use development that’s quickly become a community favorite. Built on the former site of the McKay Press Building, the project tackled asbestos, hazardous materials, and public infrastructure to make way for the nearly 250,000 square foot structure.

Now, the East End is a lively spot right across from Dow Diamond, home of the Great Lakes Loons baseball team, and it’s bringing new energy to the heart of Midland. The development offers office space for over 300 people, along with a medical office, a restaurant, and a retail shop. It’s transformed the area into a vibrant, walkable hub that seamlessly connects Dow Diamond with the rest of downtown.
